This morning at the Waste Water Treatment Plant, Wayne pulled off a rescue worthy of a Marvel origin story.
One duck. One drain. One man who said, “Not today.”
Spotting the little feathered daredevil heading for trouble, Wayne jumped into action and safely scooped it up before things got messy.
Now cleaned off and reunited with its flock, this duck owes Wayne a lifetime supply of grateful quacks, and maybe a cameo in the next Avengers movie.
In the spirit of truth and reconciliation, we acknowledge the Town of Edson is located on Treaty 6 territory, the traditional and ancestral lands of the Nehiyawak, Saulteaux, Siksika, Piikuni, Kainai, Dene, Nakota Sioux, and the Otipemisiwak (Métis) Nations.
